Spaghetti Pie

6 oz. spaghetti (about 3 cups cooked)
2 T. butter
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1 cup cottage cheese
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2  cup chopped onion
1/4  cup chopped green pepper
1  8oz. can tomatoes, cut up
1  6oz. can tomato paste
1  tsp. sugar
1  tsp. oregano
1/2  tsp. garlic salt
1/2  cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Cook spaghetti.  Drain.  Combine spaghetti, butter, Parmesan cheese and eggs.  Form into a crust shape in a pie pan.  Spread cottage cheese over "crust".
Brown beef & remaining ingredients (except cheese).  Simmer.  Pour meat mixture into crust.  Sprinkle cheese.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.  Enjoy!

  this feeds 6-8....but I will make 2 pies to equal a 13 x 9.
